This class project aimed to create a public service announcement poster. At the time of this, the streets of New York City were not safe for anyone with crime rates rising at the time. At first, it was a challenge to pick a certain topic to talk about, with many other topics to talk about. Ultimately, I decided on this because it felt like something
I could connect with it since it was also when Asian hate crimes were rising.
I chose this design at first to represent the idea, that where the light shines is where people feel the safest, to illustrate how people needed to watch their backs and be careful wherever they went especially at night when one is alone.
